[Infographic] How Social Media Is Destroying Productivity
Earlier we showed how employee laziness is affecting productivity at the workplace.
One of the biggest culprits is indulging in social media – whether is it checking your Facebook account, watching that frivolous YouTube video a friend (or worse, colleague) just sent over, the problem is not so much wasting time indulging, but it takes an average of 23 minutes for a worker to get back into their work rhythm after! Taken all together, that costs the American economy $650 billion per year in lost productivity.
